CDL Digest - 12.2.22

One of the purposes of the Christian Deeper Learning network and our conference is the opportunity for Christian educators to come together to learn from each other. Although we have identified six models of Christian Deeper Learning efforts in schools, we also believe that one size does not fit all, so there is great value in sharing and learning from each other. The six CDL models share common characteristics (see #8 below), and good borrowing is encouraged! Here is a listing of blog posts in one spot explaining each of the models:

This week we turn our attention to another one of our pre-conference offerings - an opportunity to learn from the journey of a well-established school with a long history - Abbotsford Christian. Julius Siebenga is Executive Director at Abbotsford Christian and has been instrumental in implementing a PBL (Project-Based Learning) approach there. If you would like additional background, be sure to read blog post #7 above.

Here is a special invitation from Julius, and in the second video, words of encouragement from his team!

CDL6 Update

Registration continues to be strong - don't wait any longer to register!

Our registration continues to be very strong, and we passed the 350 attendees mark this week. We will have a limit of 500 enrollees for this conference to be held at Surrey Christian High School. If you are planning to attend, it would be good to reserve your seat now.

You can view more information here about all four of our pre-conference offerings.

We are really excited about and blessed by, the partners who will be joining us at our conference! All will be sharing information at their tables, and some will be doing workshops and EMT's (Eleven Minute Talks). We seek partners who understand and get behind the mission of CDL and who have genuinely helpful ways to support your work. Here are a few of our partners - we will highlight more each week. Click on each logo for more information.

Editor's note about the Digest: We hope to share with you each week articles of interest that you may have missed. This will include current information as well as previous blog posts from CDL that perhaps you didn’t have time to read the first time around.
